In 1944 the engineers constructed at KHD (Kloeckner-Humboldt-Deutz) production-ready diesel engines with AIR COOLING, no other German manufacturer produced such engines. In 1951 Magirus-Deutz before completely redesigned truck, the production of all-wheel-Eckhauber was added in 1953.
